This Privacy Policy describes how Truth Intelligence Ltd (“Vision3”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data when you use our analytics platform at www.vision3.co.uk (the “Service”), in full compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Capitalized terms have the meanings set out below.

- “Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
- “Processing” means any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, storage, use, disclosure or erasure.
- “Data Subject” means you, the individual to whom Personal Data relates.
- “Controller” means Vision3, which determines the purposes and means of Processing Personal Data.
- “Processor” means any third party who Processes Personal Data on our behalf.
- “Third-Party APIs” means external data providers whose public data we ingest (YouTube, Reddit, Mastodon, News APIs, TikTok).

3. Data We Collect
3.1 Personal Data You Provide
- Account registration (email, name, password)
- Profile preferences and settings
- Support requests and survey responses
3.2 Data Collected Automatically
- Usage Data (pages visited, timestamps, IP address, device & browser info)
- API request parameters and returned metadata (titles, captions, stats, comments)
3.3 Third-Party Data
We ingest only publicly available metadata and user-generated content via Third-Party APIs under their official terms. We do not collect private or restricted data.
4. Lawful Bases for Processing
- Consent: where you opt-in (e.g. marketing communications).
- Contract: necessary to provide the Service and fulfill our agreement with you.
- Legitimate interests: to improve and secure the Service, analyze usage, and prevent fraud.
- Legal obligation: compliance with UK law and regulatory requirements.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

- Legal & Safety: to comply with law enforcement, protect rights, prevent fraud or imminent harm.
- Business Transfers: in connection with mergers, acquisitions or asset sales—subject to confidentiality obligations.
- With Your Consent: any disclosures you explicitly authorize.
7. International Transfers
Your data may be transferred outside the UK. We ensure adequate safeguards such as UK-approved Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request a copy by emailing our DPO.
8. Data Retention
We retain your Personal Data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes in section 5, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Usage Data is retained for up to 24 months; raw API data for up to 12 months; account data persists until deletion.
9. Your Rights Under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access your Personal Data (right of access).
- Rectify inaccurate data (right of rectification).
- Erase data (right to be forgotten), where lawful.
- Restrict or object to Processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format (data portability).
- Lodge a complaint with the UK ICO: ico.org.uk.

10. Security Measures
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures: encryption at rest and in transit (TLS), regular security assessments, access controls, and staff training. However, no system is 100% secure; see section 12 for liability limits.
11. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. Indemnification & Limitation of Liability
12.1 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vision3, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your breach of this Policy or misuse of the Service;
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights;
- Your negligence or willful misconduct.
12.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vision3’s total aggregate liability under this Policy or related to the Service shall not exceed £100 GBP. In no event shall Vision3 be liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy at any time. We will notify you by email or Service notice at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
